Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 June 2026
These terms govern your use of PureWill, a document preparation service operated by Nanoswift Ltd (trading as PureWill), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16216561), with registered office at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3AX.
By using this service you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at wills@nanoswift.co.uk.
1. Nature of the service
PureWill is an online document preparation service. We produce will documents based on the information you provide. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Using PureWill does not create a solicitor-client relationship.
We make no representation that a document produced using our service is suitable for any individual's specific circumstances.
2. Eligibility
To use PureWill you must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Be resident in England or Wales at the time of making your will
- Have testamentary capacity (be of sound mind)
- Have a straightforward estate without the complexities listed below
PureWill is not suitable if you have:
- Children from a previous relationship in a new family ("blended family")
- Property in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or outside the United Kingdom
- Business ownership or significant business interests
- An existing or intended trust
- A divorce in progress
- An estate likely to be subject to inheritance tax planning
If any of these apply, please use a qualified solicitor. You can find one at solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk.
3. Your responsibilities
By using PureWill, you confirm that:
- The information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date
- You understand that the will must be correctly signed and witnessed to be legally valid
- You have read and will follow the signing instructions provided in your PDF
- You will review your will following any major life event (marriage, divorce, birth of children, significant change in assets)
You are solely responsible for ensuring your will is signed and witnessed correctly. PureWill accepts no liability for a will that is invalidated by incorrect signing or witnessing.
4. Payment and delivery
Payment is taken at the point of checkout via Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, your PDF will document is generated and made available for download. You will have access to your download link immediately after payment. Before paying, you are asked to consent to this immediate supply; see section 5 for how this affects your cancellation rights.
All prices are shown inclusive of any applicable tax.
5. Cancellation rights and refunds
Because we supply a digital product that is made available immediately, your statutory cancellation rights work differently from physical goods.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you would normally have a 14-day "cooling-off" period in which to cancel. However, before payment you are asked to confirm that:
- you want your will document supplied (generated and made available to download) immediately after payment; and
- you understand and agree that, once it has been made available to download, you lose your right to cancel and to a refund under those Regulations.
By ticking that box and completing payment, you give that consent. Accordingly, we do not offer refunds once your will document has been generated and made available for download, except where required by law (for example, where the document is faulty or not as described).
If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing your document, please contact us at wills@nanoswift.co.uk and we will put it right.
6. Intellectual property
The content, templates, and software of PureWill are the intellectual property of Nanoswift Ltd. The will document generated from your information is yours to use for personal purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our templates.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nanoswift Ltd's total liability to you arising from or in connection with this service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant document.
We are not liable for:
- Losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provided
- A will being invalidated due to incorrect signing or witnessing
- Changes in the law after your will was produced
- Losses caused by your failure to update your will after a material change in circumstances
- Any indirect or consequential loss
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
